Synopsis:

With one look, I’m his . . .

With one touch, he’s mine . . .

With one kiss, it changes everything between us . . .

I’ve been famous since I can remember. Singing, acting, dancing—I’ve done it all. The tabloids cover my every move, but I don’t want that anymore. I want to be normal, whatever that is.

When I leave Hollywood for college in Vermont, I’m on my own for the first time in my life. This is my chance to figure out who I am and what I want in life.

But it’s a lot harder than I expected. I can’t escape my image. Classes are difficult, and I’m struggling. And then there’s Caleb Fox.

Sexy, intriguing Caleb Fox.

Caleb is the one man who doesn’t want to use me. He breaks down my walls. He challenges me. He wants me. And I just don’t know if I can give him the same—or if he’ll stick around when he finds out my shameful secret that the tabloids haven’t managed to uncover.

Dating him is risky enough, but loving him could break me.

Review:

Stay With Me is the first book in the With Me series. It revolves around a young woman named Hailey, who has just decided to walk away from fame. She wants to go to college and live a normal life. Being “normal” is tough for her though – everyone knows who she is. She has never gone to a regular school before and she is having a hard time keeping up with her classes. The tabloids are saying all kinds of bad things about her – thanks to her horrible mother. Life for her gets better once Caleb walks into it though.

Hailey is instantly attracted to Caleb. She has been around all sorts of good looking famous men, but to her – Caleb is better looking than any of them. Also, Caleb doesn't seem to be interested in her only because of her fame. He genuinely seems to want to get to know her. Caleb is a great guy. He actually seems to good to be true. I think that if he was struggling with his own personal demons, or if he had a bad boy image, or something...then he would have been a more interesting character.

Hailey has this big secret all through the book. The reader doesn't know this secret until the end and there's this big build up to it. She thinks everyone will hate her when they find out what happened. I was a little disappointed in the secret though. I thought it would be something more major. I'm not saying that what happened wasn't a big deal, I was just expecting more.

The romance between Hailey and Caleb was sweet. The sex scenes were steamy. The book was just missing a little something. Some drama maybe? I don't know. Of course, I know a lot of readers like to keep things simple with no complicated drama – in that case, you would LOVE this book! I think that anyone who is a fan of New Adult romance should give this book a shot. What I really liked was the background characters. They definitely added interest to the story. I definitely want to read more about Daphne and Nick! I really can't wait to read the next book!
