Review:

Fall For Me is the first book in The Tate Chronicles series by K.A. Last. It's a good young adult story about a Protection Angel named Grace. Her job has always been to protect the Tate family. One thing she never expected to do is fall in love. Unfortunately, angels aren't supposed to fall in love or they suffer serious consequences.

Falling for one person is bad enough, but Grace falls for two. The love triangle in this book consists of the typical bad boy, good boy types. Josh is a great guy. Once Grace decides that she can't stay away from him, their relationship moves pretty quickly. Don't get me wrong, there is no sex involved, but it was sort of insta-love. The other guy involved is Seth. Grace is attracted to him, but she sees him as an enemy. He is there for her when she needs him the most though, and she doesn't know what to think. I could feel how torn Grace was between these guys. I was pretty torn myself, though I'm leaning more toward Seth. His character seemed to have more depth to him. The mystery of him interested me.

The interesting twist in this story, is that not only is Grace an angel – she is a vampire hunter as well. Her and her brother Archer hunt vampires at night, and are high school seniors during the day. With all the vampires, there is plenty of action and suspense. The story flowed quickly and easily, and kept my interest.

We don't exactly get a happily-ever-after ending in this book. It's heartbreaking and ends with a cliffhanger. I'm sure things will get resolved in the next book though, and I'm really curious which boy Grace will choose. Any fans of YA paranormal romances should give this book a try!
