"The Buzz" is something I started to let readers know what's going on out in book-land. Basically, it's just some random babble that I mix all together and serve at once :)

This past week, I won a $10 Amazon gift card from 4 Corners Press. I was so excited! I had such the dilemma - I couldn't decide what to buy! I ended up going with She Smells the Dead by E.J. Stevens:

I am a big fan of Indie authors, and lesser-known authors. I know there are some readers out there who don't give these authors a chance - and they don't know what they are missing! I have come across some great books that I otherwise wouldn't have known about. Also, with a lot of these authors, you don't have to wait a whole-freaking year for the next book in a series to come out! Without dealing with big-name publishers, these authors are able to get the books out there on their time - however quickly or slowly they want. I just love finding new-to-me authors. Here is a really cool website where these authors can challenge each other for the most comments. Readers win free e-books, authors get more publicity - it's just awesome all around!
