I'm excited to have H.P. Mallory here today for the Tale of Two Goblins blog tour! H.P. Mallory is a great author, and I think that any paranormal fan will like the Dulcie O'Neil series. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to interview the author. Read on to learn more about this author and her wonderful series:
Hi, I'm HP Mallory and I've written two series, the first about a fairy in law enforcement (To Kill A Warlock and A Tale of Two Goblins) and the second about a witch who can bring back the dead (Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble and Toil and Trouble).
I'm a mongo fan of anything that goes bump in the night and Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! (Quick tangent--the best costume I've ever worn was last year when I went as the Headless Horseman and my baby was my Jack-O-Lantern head!) I've always loved the Twilight Zone Marathons and if I ever saw a ghost, I think I'd wet myself.
I grew up in California although I've lived abroad in the UK (England and Scotland--woo hoo, gotta love those kilts!)
I'd categorize my writing as a blend of suspense, humor, light horror, and romance with a sprinkle of fantasy to tie everything together! If you are all about fairies and witches and vampires (oh my!), you love a good alpha warlock and you like men who get a little hairy during a full moon, I got the goods.

What drew you to the paranormal genre?
H.P. - I love reading anything paranormal so I think it was a natural fit that I would want to write paranormal stories as well.
How do you come up with the ideas for your books?
H.P. - Well, Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble sort of came to me. I just had this story I wanted to tell about an average girl becoming extraordinary! For To Kill A Warlock, I wanted to write a story about a very strong woman who has to learn to trust again.
Who designs your adorable book covers?
H.P. - Thank you! Well, I do but I do purchase the art as stock art and then I splice them together in photoshop and change hair and eye colors and add the text.
Do you have any hobbies?
H.P. - Well, it seems like lately I've just been writing because I have so many books I need to get out! LOL But when I'm not quite as busy, I love to travel.
How long does it take you to write a book?
H.P. - Luckily, I can write pretty quickly. Depending on the length of the book, maybe 2-3 months.
What your favorite book that you have written?
H.P. - Ooo man, that's a tough one. I do love Toil and Trouble but I also am very proud of A Tale of Two Goblins so I would have to say those two.
When does your next book come out?
H.P. - The next Dulcie book will be out in July. Then there will be a Jolie novella out in December. Then another Dulcie book out in Winter 2011 and the last three books of the Jolie series out next year.
What are you working on now?
H.P. - Now I'm working on the Jolie novella.
