Running Blind Review & Giveaway
It seems like any ordinary day as Nick waits for the train, but then a chance encounter with a young woman turns his world upside down. What is it that she is running from and will helping her jeopardize his own secret, making him a target too?
I'm giving this story 4 stars - it is very good! Time Keepers is a paranormal story that is being published in four short-story length parts. Part 1 is called Running Blind. It is a very short read and goes by very quickly. You don't have the slow introduction that a lot of books have - it jumps right into the action from the start. Nicki has a way of being descriptive enough that you get a feel for the surroundings, but not so descriptive that it gets boring. It sounds like there is a big variety of supernatural beings in the story, which makes it interesting. This first part of the story ends with a major cliffhanger. It leaves you wondering who - or what - Nick is. I will anxiously be awaiting parts 2 - 4, which come out in April, May, and June.
